Clay Charm Making Workshop for Kids | June 30

Join us for a creative, hands-on Maker Camp workshop where kids will learn the art of designing and creating their own handmade clay charms from start to finish!

In this small-group class, participants will be introduced to the basics of working with air dry clay and will learn how to shape, cut, and design custom charms using beginner-friendly techniques. Kids will then be guided through the finishing process, including how to properly prime, paint with acrylic paints, and seal their pieces with glaze for a polished final look.

Once their charms are complete, each child will use their handmade pieces to create their own custom necklace or bracelet to take home. Participants may create up to 5 charms during the workshop.

This workshop is best suited for children ages 8+ and is designed to help kids build confidence through creativity while learning foundational maker skills they can continue practicing at home.

This workshop will be led by two adults and class sizes are intentionally kept very small to allow for hands-on instruction and support throughout the experience.

Please note:

• This is a kid-only workshop; however, parents/guardians are required to sign children in and out.
• Parents are welcome to stay nearby during the event if preferred.
• Participants will be using clay tools, acrylic paint, glaze materials, and jewelry-making supplies under adult supervision.
• By registering, parents/guardians acknowledge that this is a hands-on crafting workshop involving art materials and small jewelry components.

Registration includes all supplies needed for the workshop, including clay, paint, glaze, chains, jewelry tools, and materials needed to bring each child’s vision to life.

Our goal for this workshop is simple: to encourage creativity, build confidence, and help kids discover the joy of making something entirely their own.
