Job Title: Part-Time Sales Coordinator
Location: Polished Prints, Edwardsville, IL
Position Type: Part-Time (Approximately 20-25 hours per week)
Compensation: $17 per hour plus 20% commission on events booked

Polished Prints is a vibrant retail store, gift shop, and craft bar located in the heart of Edwardsville, Illinois. We offer a unique space for creativity and celebration, including a craft bar for custom projects and a variety of events ranging from birthday parties to workshops. We pride ourselves on providing a memorable and personalized experience for our customers.

Job Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Part-Time Sales Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will be instrumental in driving private events to our craft bar, coordinating with local vendors, and maintaining our customer database. This position requires a combination of sales skills, event coordination, and customer service. The ideal candidate will have a passion for event planning, strong organizational skills, and a proactive approach to driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

- Event Coordination: Drive at least 10 private events per month to our craft bar. These may include birthday parties, baby showers, bridal showers, Girl Scout gatherings, fundraisers and more. In addition to private events, we would ideally like 2 community events per month as well. 
- Vendor Management: Coordinate with local vendors to host public events such as "Build Your Own T-Shirt Bars," workshops, pop-up yoga, story hour, princess parties, and other engaging activities.
- Lead Follow-Up: Actively follow up on leads to convert inquiries into bookings. Maintain and update a comprehensive customer database to track interactions and event details.
- In-Store Presence: Work approximately 10 hours per week in-store, including serving as a sales associate when needed.
- Event Oversight: Be present on-site for all events, requiring availability for at least 3 weekends per month between the hours of 10am and 5pm.

Qualifications:

- Experience: Previous experience in sales, event planning, or customer service is required.
- Skills: Excellent organizational and communication skills. Ability to multitask and manage multiple events simultaneously. Can utilize project management software such as Monday.com.
- Availability: Must be available to work at least 3 weekends per month between the hours of 10am and 5pm. Flexibility to adjust hours as needed for events.
- Personality: Energetic, personable, and able to build rapport with clients and vendors. Strong problem-solving skills and a positive attitude. Strong sense of urgency, thrives in a fast-paced environment that is ever changing. Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
